Alsikkan Farm

We are a newly renovated, full-service boarding facility located in Germantown, Maryland, on the Montgomery County Agricultural Reserve. Alsikkan Farm functions as the training base for Moore Hebert Dressage, their clients and training horses. Our goal, through regular riding, lessons, training and competition is to develop the dressage skills in every horse and rider at the farm.

Additionally, we host regular unmounted activities to develop a sense of family at the Alsikkan Farm. For these reasons, all boarding programs include at least one weekly dressage lesson. This can be substituted for a training ride, if you would prefer, are out of town and/or are busy with work.

We offer the following to all boarded horses:
  • Triple Crown, Purina or the feed of your choice from Farm & Home Services, at no additional cost.
  • Access to multiple wash stalls, tack storage and lounge in the barn.
  • Trailer and truck parking
  • Dressage lessons and/or training with Hilary Moore Hebert
  • Two arenas: 100x220' oversized indoor and a 35x40' outdoor with all-weather footing
  • 30 acres of fields for hillwork and hacking

Alsikkan Farm is the residence of head trainer and owner, Hilary Moore Hebert. She lives with her husband on the property, so the horses are monitored around-the-clock. There is always a trailer available for emergency shipping and we are three miles from major highways and within an hour of New Bolton large animal hospital.

For more information about boarding and training your horse with us, please visit www.mooredressage.com or contact farm owner/resident trainer Hilary Moore Hebert for more information.
